The Department of Public Health held an educational event as a part of the career guidance work of the educational and scientific medical institute on April 9.
Schoolchildren of Sumy Specialized School No. 7 visited the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute.
Docents T. Ivakhniuk and Yu. Vasiliev explained the microbial world of the environment to the students at the Department of Public Health. They studied the microflora of the skin of the hands, the microbial world of dust, banknotes and a kitchen sponge. In addition, each student studied the microflora of his own dental plaque and got acquainted with its functions.
