Master class “Microbial world that surrounds us”

On September 11, assistant professor of the Department of Public Health, Tetiana Ivakhniuk, held an educational master class, “Microbial world that surrounds us,” for students of junior grades in secondary schools in Sumy. During the lesson, entertainingly, schoolchildren studied the microflora of dental plaque under a microscope and got acquainted with the rules of oral hygiene. After that, each schoolchild studied the microbial world of household dust under a microscope and took part in the interactive game “How to protect yourself from germs?”. Each participant in the master class received positive emotions and knowledge about the microbial world of the surrounding environment and its impact on health.
