An open lecture-discussion on the topic “Tightness and Loseness as cultural factors: an application to explain vaccination attitudes” by the Italian professor Vincenzo Alfano from the University of Naples “Parthenope” took place on October 24 in online format. The topic of the lecture is relevant and reveals the attitude of the population to vaccination on the example of Italy.
The lecturers of the Department of Public Health gladly took part in the event, because in Ukraine there are also many stereotypes regarding the issue of vaccination and it is necessary to find ways to overcome them.
We are grateful to the organizers of the event for the opportunity to join the lecture-discussion and exchange experience with scientists from European countries regarding important issues of public health preservation.
