Participation in the “Do no harm” training

On January 11, assistant professor of the department Svitlana Piven took part in the first part of the “Do no harm principle” training, which takes place within the framework of the project “Building the potential of women’s organizations to prevent and protect women and girls from gender-based violence” of the Women’s Consortium of Ukraine with the support of the International Medical Corps and funding USAID.
The training is two-day (January 11 and 18), and the trainer is psychiatrist-psychotherapist Yevgenia Dubrovska.
The event is focused on the needs of women and the analysis of their own services for compliance with standards.
During the first day, factors that have a negative impact on people’s mental health were actively discussed and the rules of work based on the principle of “Do no harm” were introduced.
