At the department of public health, career orientation work is ongoing as part of the open day. On April 23, the grades of Sumy Specialized School #25 have become the visitors. During the meeting, the schoolchildren learnt about the basics of epidemiology and the microbial world that surrounds them every day. They researched the micro preparations of the causative agents of common diseases and methods of their prevention and treatment. O. Oleshko, the professor of the department of, told about hygienic devices used in medical practice. He showed a chemical toxicological laboratory, told about the specifics of its work and the researches conducted there.
