Conducting career guidance work in territorial communities of Sumy region

Svitlana Piven, associate professor of the department of public health, is actively engaged in career guidance work in territorial communities of the Sumy region.

As part of the project of the Ukrainian Women’s Fund “Let’s Stand Together”. Improving the system of support for victims of conflict-related sexual violence / SNPK”  the project “Help is nearby: removing stereotypes and joining forces” is being implemented in the Sumy region. 10 trainings were planned in territorial communities for workers in various fields with the aim of developing an algorithm for providing comprehensive assistance to victims of conflict-related sexual violence.

After the training, Svitlana Piven continues to meet with specialists in order to raise their awareness of the possibilities of obtaining an education at the NNMI of Sumy State University, in particular, specialty 229 “Public Health”.

So far, the following events have been held in the city of Shostka, the city of Nedrigailiv, the village of Boromlya, Trostyanets, Lebedyn, Konotop.
