Students pursuing a master’s degree in public health completed a course on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases in an informal education format.

In September 2025, second-year master’s degree students majoring in Public Health (Andriy Domchuk, Olesia Davydenko, Alina Pikhtіrova) actively participated in a training course on the platform of the state institution “Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” – “Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases.” This course was taught in an informal education format as part of the discipline “Prevention of Non-Communicable and Communicable Diseases. Fundamentals of Immunoprophylaxis.”

The course helped students systematize their knowledge of the main areas related to non-communicable diseases, which included 9 topics and 29 modules structured into five blocks. Completing the course as part of informal education allowed future public health specialists to gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills for effective work in the field of prevention and control of non-communicable diseases, which is relevant in today’s conditions.
