On November 2, students of the 10-11th grades of the Sumy came to the Open Door Day. The teachers of the department, Yurii Vasiliev and Alina Pikhtirova, introduced the visitors to the rules of using a light microscope, the basics of microbiology and the microflora of everyday objects. They talked about the benefits and drawbacks of treating diseases with antibiotics and the methods of determining the sensitivity of the causative agents of bacterial infections. The schoolchildren were satisfied with the meeting.
