On April 16, students of the 10-11th grades of Velikochernechchynsk IGSE became visitors. Senior lecturer of the department, Alina Pikhtirova, introduced the visitors in detail to the basics of microbiology and the microflora of everyday objects, namely: banknotes, kitchen sponges, etc. She talked about the benefits and drawbacks of treating diseases with antibiotics and about the methods of determining the sensitivity of bacterial pathogens using the disc diffusion method.<\/p>

Also, schoolchildren had the opportunity to get acquainted with the hygienic devices used in laboratory and field conditions. Learned more about the operation of the 3D printer and the possibilities of its use in the medical field, as well as visited the chemical and toxicological laboratory.<\/p>

The schoolchildren were satisfied with the meeting. Our department always hospitably opens its doors to those who wish to gain knowledge and quality education!!! <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
