On December 21, on the initiative of the extracurricular sector of the NN MI and student self-government, student volunteers visited CU – Sumy Mother and Child Center.
Every year, during the New Year holidays, the students of NN MI organize the charity project “Mercy Tree”. This project is aimed at collecting things for socially vulnerable children, for those who find themselves in extremely difficult life situations, displaced persons and children with limited physical properties.
About 15 mothers with children who have suffered from violence in the family and do not have adequate funds to support themselves and their children live in the mother and child center. Volunteers brought the children gifts from St. Nicholas, talked, drew and drank tea.
In addition, NN MI volunteers donated personal hygiene for mothers and children, warm clothes, various stationery, puzzles, board games, and books.
