On October 22, 2025, the Department of Public Health of Sumy State University warmly welcomed students from Sumy Medical College.
During the visit, future doctors had the opportunity to learn more about the department’s work and its educational and scientific infrastructure. The students immersed themselves in the microscopic world of microorganisms, learned about modern methods of microbiological diagnostics, and visited the research microbiological laboratory, where Associate Professor Tetiana Ivakhniuk demonstrated the practical aspects of studying microorganisms.
The visitors also visited the research laboratory of the “ECOMEDHIM” Regional Center, where Associate Professor Oleshko O.M. introduced them to the possibilities of 3D printing in medicine, demonstrated the work of a 3D printer, and showed examples of the application of innovative technologies in the training of future specialists. This format of cooperation contributes to the professional growth of students, shapes their scientific interest, and opens up opportunities for further education at Sumy State University.
The visit took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere, filled with interesting discoveries and inspiration for new knowledge.
