13.06 the teachers of the department, Tetiana Ivakhniuk, Viktoriia Holubnycha and Alina Pikhtirova, took part in the training “STOP THE BLEED” from First Aid Fast LLC with the support of the US Department of Defense as part of the program to help the wounded as a result of hostilities.
The teachers renewed their knowledge on stopping massive open bleeding and the algorithm for providing primary medical aid to the injured. We are sincerely grateful to the organizers for the opportunity to practice practical skills in stopping massive bleeding on dummies, and we hope that in real life they will not be needed.
