On May 9, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health Tetiana Ivakhniuk attended the master class “Qualitative Bacteriological Research: Selection, storage, and Transportation of Material.” During the event, the following were highlighted: the specifics of the pre-analytical stage and its importance for a qualitative result; types of microbiological research and features of the material collection; characteristics of containers for the selection of biomaterials; nuances of storage, delivery, and packaging of materials to bacteriological laboratories; period of research.
The acquired skills and knowledge will be implemented in the educational process of the Department of Public Health.
