Risk management training

On December 15, 16 and 17, 2021, an online training “Analysis of the Risk of Dangerous Diseases of Animals” was held within the framework of the EU project “Improving Legislation, Control and Awareness in the Field of Food Safety, Animal Health and Welfare in Ukraine” and under provision of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP). Specialists of the central apparatus and territorial bodies of the SSUFSCP, representatives of scientific profile organizations, experts, including professors Oleksandra Berhilevych and Victoriia Kasianchuk took part in training. It is important to note that risk management is considered a central process underlying any management activity.   The aim of the training: to promote the implementation of food safety and animal health risk management in Ukraine and to ensure compliance with requirements of national legislation and international obligations. Issues of the training:
  1. Modern international and national risk assessment and management legislation as a basis for sustainable development.
  2. Scientific and methodological aspects of analysis and risk assessment of dangerous diseases in animals and humans.
  3. Experience of risk assessment in the system of monitoring dangerous diseases in animals and people.
This training will be conducted periodically, and participants will be involved in risk assessment and analysis. At the end of the training all participant underwent testing and received certificates.
