On November 27, 2024, associate professors of the Department of Public Health Viktoria Golubnycha and Tetiana Ivakhniuk took part in the online workshop “Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education” held within the framework of the Ukrainian-Swiss project “Development of Medical Education”.
The speakers of this workshop were Christoph Pimmer – Head of Innovation at the Swiss Institute of Tropical and Public Health and Oleksandr Romanko – Deputy Director of the Quantitative Financial Risk Group at SS&C Technologies, Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto, American University in Kyiv and Ukrainian Catholic University. During the workshop, there were thematic presentations on the topics “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Healthcare. Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education”, Christoph Pimmer and “Course and Educational Program Development Using Artificial Intelligence”, Oleksandr Romanko.
During the workshop, there was an active discussion on the possibilities of ChatGPT and artificial intelligence for course design and testing of medical hypotheses.
