Participation of teachers of the department and students of the educational and scientific medical institute of Sumy State University in the webinar from the cycle “Successful management decisions in public health”

On September 17, faculty from the Department of Public Health and students from the Department’s Student Research Circle attended a webinar on “Health and Housing in the United States: From Institutionalized Placement to Community-Based Options – A Case Study of the Housing First Program” in Camden, CA New Jersey”.

This webinar was held as part of the partnership between Ukrainian universities and the University of Philadelphia, “Successful Management Solutions in Public Health”. The webinar speaker was Kathleen G. Noonan, PhD, president and CEO of the Camden Coalition, a multidisciplinary public health organization working both locally and nationally to improve outcomes for people with complex medical and social needs.

The webinar covered the history and data behind the Housing First Coalition program and provided practical examples of how to help people live healthier lives in their communities.
