At the Department of Public Health, the pre-defense and defense of the qualification papers of bachelor’s degree candidates in the specialty 229 Public Health were successfully held.
On June 10, in face-to-face format, the students of education presented the results of their first scientific research in the form of reports and presentations to the members of the commission and employees of the department. Works from various areas of public health were presented. Educators studied the awareness of the residents of Sumy TG about the issues and consequences of traditional smoking, nicotine consumption through electronic devices, about the issue of sexual violence related to the conflict, the use of antibiotics and the development of antibiotic resistance. On the basis of the conducted research, conclusions were drawn and certain recommendations and suggestions were offered for the preservation of public health.
On June 17, students successfully defended their qualification papers. The high level of conducted research and design of works was noted.
