Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health of the School of Medicine of Sumy State University Ivakhniuk T.V. took part in a scientific and practical conference “Classification and spectrum of antibacterial activity of antimicrobial agents”, as well as in a master class “Non-hospital respiratory tract infections: when, why and what kind of antibiotics are needed”.
The event brought together leading experts in microbiology, clinical pharmacology, epidemiology, public health, and infectious diseases to discuss modern approaches to the use of antibacterial drugs and their effectiveness in treating infectious diseases. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and receive up-to-date information on pathogen resistance and the rational use of antibiotics.
Participation in such events allows the department’s teachers to deepen their professional knowledge, introduce the latest methods into the educational process and promote the training of future medical specialists by international standards.
